The Products page is exclusively accessible to NDA Administrators. This section of the NDA Portal enables administrators to manage all product listings available within the system. From this page, admins can view, update, and control the visibility of each product.
- SKU: A unique reference number assigned to each product. Clicking the SKU number opens the product’s detailed information page, where edits can be made.
- Name: The name of the product.
- Brand: The product’s associated brand.
- Visibility: Indicates the current publishing status of the product:
- Draft: The product is saved but not published. It is not visible on the NDA website or within the portal and cannot be ordered.
- Portal: The product is visible only within the NDA Portal and is available for internal orders.
- Portal and Website: The product is published and visible both on the public-facing NDA website and within the portal.
- Actions: This column provides action options for managing individual products. Currently, the only available action is Edit, which redirects the admin to the product’s detail page, which is similar to clicking the SKU.
Product Information Sections
- Thumbnail: This is a reduced-size image representing the product. It serves as a quick visual identifier for users browsing or managing listings.
- Details: This section provides essential information about the product,
- Name
- Brand
- SKU
- Manufacturer Code
NDA Admin is the only User who has permission to edit the product’s name, brand, and summary fields. The SKU and manufacturer code are displayed for reference but cannot be modified.
- Visibility: This section indicates when the product listing was:
- Created
- Last Modified
- Last Imported
Each action includes a corresponding date and time stamp. Users can also manage the product’s display status by selecting one of the following options:
- Draft (not visible)
- Visible on Portal and Website
- Visible on Portal Only
- Pricing: Displays the product's pricing structure, including the price matrix and the unit of measure, and the quantity of multiples per order.
- Categories: Shows the assigned category or classification to which the product belongs. This helps in organising and filtering products within the portal.
- Images: Allows users to upload product images. An ALT Text can be added to the images as well.
- Content: This area is designed for inputting detailed product descriptions, including specifications, applications, and downloads.
- Additional Data: Provides space for any other relevant information about the product. This section is used when supplementary details are required beyond the standard fields.
If the product is visible on the NDA website, you will see a section labelled Website Listing. This section provides key website-related details, including:
- Website Product ID: The unique identifier assigned to the product on the NDA website.
- Website Product URL: A direct link to the product's listing on the website.
- Last Export Timestamp: The date and time the product information was last updated and exported to the website.
Don’t forget to save your changes. Once saved, your updates will take effect immediately.
