How to Manage Products (For NDA Admin)

The Products page is available only to NDA Administrators. This section allows admins to manage all product listings in the system. From here, you can view products, update their details, and control whether they appear in the portal or on the website. 

• SKU: A unique reference number assigned to each product. Clicking the SKU number opens the product’s detailed information page, where edits can be made.
• Name: The name of the product.
• Brand: The product’s associated brand.
• Visibility: Indicates the current publishing status of the product:
  1. Draft: The product is saved but not published. It is not visible on the NDA website or within the portal and cannot be ordered.
  2. Portal: Visible only within the NDA Portal; available for internal orders. 
  3. Portal and Website: Published on both the NDA website and the portal. 
• Actions: This column provides action options for managing individual products. Currently, the only available action is Edit, which takes you to the product detail page (same as clicking the SKU). 

Product Information Sections

• Thumbnail: A small product image used for quick identification. 
• Details: This section provides essential information about the product: 

1. Name
2. Brand
3. SKU 
4. Manufacturer Code

Only the NDA Admin can edit the product name, brand, and summary. The SKU and manufacturer code are displayed for reference but cannot be modified.

• Visibility: This section indicates when the product listing was:

1. Created
2. Last Modified
3. Last Imported

Each action includes a corresponding date and time stamp. Users can also manage the product’s display status by selecting one of the following options:

1. Draft (not visible)
2. Visible on Portal and Website
3. Visible on Portal Only

• Pricing: Displays the product's pricing structure, including the price matrix and the unit of measure, and the quantity of multiples per order. 
• Categories: Shows the assigned category or classification to which the product belongs. This helps in organising and filtering products within the portal.
• Images: Allows uploading product images and adding ALT Text for accessibility. 
• Content: This area is designed for inputting detailed product descriptions, including specifications, applications, and downloads. 
• Additional Data: An optional section for any extra product information not covered in other fields. 

If the product is visible on the NDA website, an additional section will appear that displays: 

• Website Product ID: The product’s identifier on the website. 
• Website Product URL: A direct link to the product's listing on the website.
• Last Export Timestamp: The date and time the product information was last updated and exported to the website.

Don’t forget to save your changes. Once saved, all updates will take effect immediately.
