Pegboard version 6.5.2401.5248 introduces the Abandoned Cart feature which allows website administrator to view abandoned shopping carts and send a follow-up email to potential customers.
Pegboard flags a shopping cart as abandoned after 10 minutes of inactivity and the state of shopping cart already has the contact email of the potential customer. The flag will be removed if the potential customer decides to continue with the purchase. Abandoned shopping carts are removed from Pegboard after 7 days since these were last updated.
These are the steps to follow to view a list of abandoned shopping carts.
1. Login to the admin console
2. In the main menu, select Modules > ECommerce > Abandoned Carts
3. Each row of The Abandoned Carts report represents a single abandoned shopping cart. The Commands column contains available actions that website administrator can do on a cart.
4. Select the View Details action to check the items in the abandoned shopping cart.
5. Select the Email Customer action send a follow-up email to the customer.
