Reallocating Leads

In this article, you will learn a faster method for reallocating Leads without having to access the Lead Edit page. 


While the Lead Edit page can also be used to assign leads to a different user, it requires filling out additional fields such as Industry and Estimated Value, which may not be necessary for other users (particularly the Dealer Admins) if they only want to simply reallocate the Lead to another user. This article will show you a simpler and quicker way to reallocate leads.


Go to the Leads page. 



To reallocate a Lead, simply go to the Rep column and click the dropdown menu. This will display a list of all Dealer Admin and Users in the CRM. Select the User you want to assign the Lead to. 



Note: The Dealer Admin/Dealer User can assign the Lead to anyone they choose. However, if the Dealer Admin has selected the "Only Dealer Admin user can reallocate leads" option in their Dealer Settings, then only the Dealer Admin can reallocate leads. Dealer Users are not authorized to reallocate any leads to other users.



Keep in mind that the Leads with a Deal Won, Nurture, or Recycle status can no longer be reallocated nor can their details be modified.
