If you wish to edit the visibility and searchability of the page in the front end, you can tick the Active, Visible, and Searchable buttons in the Details page.
*NOTE: If you’re working on a new page or you’re editing an existing page, it is recommended to set the page to “inactive” and “invisible” so the unfinished changes won’t be visible from public view. Set the page to “Active” and “Visible” once you’re done.
- When the page is not “Searchable”, it means that it will not appear in the search results, even if the page is active and visible in the front end.
- When the page is not “Visible”, it means that it will not appear on the website at all. This means that it will be not appear either in the site menu or even in the collection/page summary. The only way you get to access the page is to type the full URL into the address bar of the browser.
- When the page is not “Active”, it means there is no way to access the page from the front end.
To hide a page from the front-end section of your site, unselect the “Active” and “Visible” in the Attributes section of the Details panel. Click “Save” or “Save & Close”.
