Release Notes 5.1

As part of our commitment to continually improving Pegboard we are proud to announce the latest release version 5.1

With this Pegboard release we have expanded Pegboard and at the same time strengthen existing modules to give even more of the flexibility that we have become accustomed to. 

 

General

-          New Ability to drag and drop on the pages on the sitemap

-          New Ability to put blog comments on all modules

-          New Captacha field is now available

-          New New Reset/Clear all checkout locks

-          New Override the the skin,  the layout and template on URL

-          Many New skintags

-          Manual sorting of collection data

-          Importing content and image regions

 

Emarketing

-          New and exciting separate interface

-          New Ability to have multiple campaigns

-          New Ability to multiple newsletters for each campaign

-          New Copy groups of subscribers between campaigns

-          New Ability to send newsletters using new centralised queue

-          New Ability to send news using internal smtp server

-          New Ordering the subscribe by subscribed date

-          New Test and Vaildate email address up front in the signup form

-          Ability to add/delete/edit subscribers in the database

-          Ability to upload/download subscriber fields to excel for top level analysis.

-          Ability to import the current format of the email/sms newsletter.

-          Ability to add/edit/delete the email newsletter’s content  - hyperlinks/images/text

-          Email newsletter’s content can be customised per recipient so that items like the Name of the Person can be included within them email.

-          Ability to send email newsletter to 10,000s of email addresses simultaneous.

o    Note: For marketing purposes, the Web site will automatically subdivide this into smaller groups of addresses, and send these at a time. Eg groups of 20 emails. This feature helps prevent possible blockage of the emails by spam filtering software.

-          All email newsletters will automatically have an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the message, so customers can unsubscribe themselves. The Web site will store and process this information, and disable that email address.

-          Ability to use templates to create newsletter (multiple content areas)

-          Ability to select any content from Web site and include it your newsletter. E.g. News articles  and other content pages

-          Ability to preview newsletter before sending them

-          Ability to create your custom subscriber form using basic forms module

-          Save groups subscribers and manually include or exclude subscribers within those group

-          Improved customisable subscriber groups filter

-          Ability create a custom filter and view of subscribers. This can be done using any subscriber field

 

Events

-          New Calendar control to display events for a week, month or year

-          New category manager

-          New mini image gallery for each event

-          New blogs comments for each events

-          New export/import of event details

-          Display a list of events or summary of events

Display the full detail of each event

-          Attendee’s can register for events online

-          Registration payments can be taken via a gateway

Advanced Forms

-          New Captacha field is now available

-          Ability to store information collected from the form into a collection

-          Ability to export the stored information into excel

-          Ability to send email to the web user and web administrator

-          Ability to link the drop fields to existing collections such as Products

-          Ability to display an advanced email form(s) anywhere on the Web site

-          Ability to customise the emails sent by the form, using a template

-          Ability to display a confirmation message that the form has been filled out an email has been sent.

-          Ability to specify the email address(s) for the form to send emails to.

-          Ability to add textbox fields, tick boxes, drop down fields, password fields and text areas to each form
